Andrew Dimitroff

Composer · Musician · Producer

Born in London, England, I studied piano and cello with a strong influence from my father, a bassist for the London Symphony Orchestra. After watching the recording of the soundtrack to Star Wars, this drove my passion for music and recording.

Moving to Los Angeles, I first apprenticed as a sound engineer in recording studios, initially Westlake Studios, assisting many sessions including Quincy Jones and Bruce Swedien recording Michael Jackson's "Thriller", Ed Cherney recording Prince, Billy Idol and more.

I then worked in music production and studied music composition privately with Dr. Milcho Leviev.

Over the years I have composed music for a multitude of television programs, including the BAFTA award winning animated series "Animal Stories", the famous "Dennis and Gnasher" children's series, the animated series "Streetfighter", and video games including the award winning "Sim City".

I now work with clients worldwide on various projects including corporate videos, distribution of a large music library, and in-flight content for airlines. My albums for Well-being, yoga and relaxation — Aiyana I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, and VIII — have been featured on British Airways, Air New Zealand, Qantas, Aer Lingus, Qatar Airways and other major airlines generating a large worldwide audience.
